The Lindsey Wilson Wellness Center was designed to “enhance wellness, education, leadership and personal skills by providing a healthy, safe and fun environment…“. The 70, 594 sq. ft. facility included exercise areas, indoor multi-use hybrid pool, racquetball court, two (2) basketball courts, indoor running track and a versatile sport playing court.

The multi-use hybrid pool is 6,930 sq. ft. inclusive of competition lanes, demising bulkhead, separate water sport plating area, handicapped entry, three (3) diving boards, and climbing wall. A 320 sq. ft. warm water spa with seating and hydrotherapy jets was provided separate from the hybrid pool. Aquatics support systems included pool filtering, sanitizer system, UV treatment system, dehumidification water reclaim system, perimeter gutter system, and surge tanks.

Facility included the following additional mechanical and electrical systems: Fire suppression, high efficient T5HO fluorescent lighting, natatorium dehumidification HVAC unit, hot water boiler and chiller for building environmental conditions, pool equipment ventilation, plumbing and toilet rooms, perimeter trench drainage around pool, shower systems, and electrical power distribution. Air distribution for the natatorium utilize fabric duct for superior performance in the harsher environmental conditions.
